Well... It's a landing

A tranquil region of space that brimmed with varied galactic worlds that boasted successful governments and thriving economies. While less famous than core worlds, the majority of the Mid Rim worlds are quite civilized. Notable planets include Naboo, Malastare, Bothawui, Kashyyyk, Ruusan, Ringo Vinda, and Ord Mantell.

As the scene began to play out, Ciara could feel the old rage bubbling to the surface. Her Masters had constantly chided her for it, spoke of how rage was only a path to the Dark Side of the Force. But right now Ciara wasn't caring about their lectures. All she could see was Dromand giving up a bounty he had worked hard for, all for a tag-a-long forced on him by her boss. Without her he would have been successful. Sukus had not only slighted his client now, but had gone so far as to create a situation causing the client to lose his pay, and their pay.

And of course, feeding into her anger too was the fact that she was suddenly the week little girl who needed to be saved.

She was shoved towards Dromand, landing against him with one hand on his chest and one on his hip as she seethed. The floor beneath them began a slow rumble, and Ciara's rage bubbled to the surface as she pushed off Dromand and saw the pair beginning to leave. She hardly processed what she was doing, drawing her vibroblade and in a quick motion she threw it as hard as she could. The short sword buried itself into Hoss's back between his shoulder blades, the tip of it protruding from his chest as Ciara snarled.

Ciara's eyes seemed darker than normal as she faced the pair, taking steps towards Sara as Hoss fell to his knees. "I made no promises." As Sara went for her knife again, Ciara was suddenly on her, ripping it from the other woman's hands and shoving it between her ribs. The minor rumbling slowed to a stop as Ciara let the other woman's bloody body fall to the ground, her hands covered in the blood as well.

Dromand watched his bounty begin to escape, but the rumbling of the cavern caught his attention suddenly, and before he knew what was happening Ciara tossed her blade with expert precision right into Hoss's back. The man didn't even scream, evidently she punctured a lung or something because he slumped dead almost instantly. Before he could react, which was stunning given his reaction speed, Ciara lunged for the other woman and gutted her with her own knife, leaving them with two more corpses. Dromand blinked a few times to process what all he had just experienced, but once he did, he slowly walked to Ciara's side and scooped up the body of Hoss without a word. He removed the vibroblade from his back and handed it to the woman, again without a word, then moved for the small exit the two criminals had been planning to use.

"Coming?" the man stated, in a stoic manner as he made his way through the small cavern and into the light of Kashyyyk's woodlands once again. He shifted a few times as they walked, re situating the weight on his shoulder from Hoss now and then, but for the most part he remained silent as they made their way back to the pathfinder. It took a good 15 minutes before he finally spoke. "You good? That wasn't exactly according to plan back there. You did what was necessary, but it wasn't easy." He wasn't usually one to put much interest in the feelings of others, but Ciara had already gotten through his hard exterior with remarkable speed. He found that, with her at least, there was concern with her well being.

Ciara didn't speak either as Dromand returned her vibroblade to her. She cleaned it off and put it away, as well as cleaning off the knife she'd taken from the woman and pocketing it for later. As they left the cavern the girl only paused to pick up her discarded blaster from before and holster it. She remained quiet as she walked with Dromand, her mind working a hundred miles a minute though. As he turned and asked her the question she simply nodded at first.

"I'm fine." she finally vocalized as they made their way out. "The Wookies will be happy, and you got your bounty." she said, making a face as she finally reached up a hand to touch her neck, noticing the blood on her fingertips. It was also the first time she noticed the blood splattered down her other hand from the woman and, in truth, it made her queasy. Trying not to think about it, she walked along with Dromand as they made their way back to the ship.

It didn't take nearly as long, no detours were necessary this time as their prey had been found and dispatched. Ciara led the way up the ramp and into the ship. Normally she would head to the galley but instead she made a beeline for her quarters. Sukus had shown up to greet them, but as he opened his mouth to speak he closed it again at the site of Ciara and her expressionless face. As the girl turned down the hallway and disappeared into her quarters to clean up, Sukus turned his attention to Dromand and noticed the body slung over the man's shoulder. "What happened to her?" he asked, jerking a thumb in Ciara's direction in a momentary show of concern. "I assume we have a contract now though? Seems you were successful."

The way she spoke and the words that she spoke both stood in stark juxtaposition in Dromand's mind. She said she was fine, but everything she did told a completely different story. He wasn't going to pry, it wasn't his way of doing things. If she wanted his help, she would have to admit she needed it first. But she was right about one thing; this was a victory, all things considered. He had 50k slung over his shoulder and the locals could sleep soundly. All in all, an ending he was happy to take. When they reached the ship finally, the Twi'lek was rendered speechless for once as he saw Ciara, and the blood that covered her hands.

"Your her captain, not her baby sitter. Don't worry about what happened to her. She's alive, that's all that matters." Dromand was cold as he moved past the Twi'lek into the Pathfinder, dropping the body of Hoss in the entryway as he moved past the ramp. "Put that wherever you want. We set course for Nal Hutta. Oh, and give me the damn Datapad later so I can sign the contract. You and Ciara will get your share, don't worry." He wouldn't wait for the pad to be produced of course, instead choosing to move on to his own quarters as Ciara had done. Once there, he'd shut the door and let out a deep sigh. "Well... that wasn't how I meant things to go. Could be worse though... at least i'm getting paid."

He'd then take off his jump pack, flop onto his back, and let out one last deep sigh. Another bounty bagged... he just hoped Ciara would be alright.
