While we could easily prattle on in the Discord server, sometimes that conversation gets swallowed up and can't remain the focus of attention of long. Figured I'd make a topic where people could discuss gaming of all kinds to help breed some activity among the members and help created a focused place for discussion on topics. After all, that's what the forum is for, isn't it?
Being a old boi gamer and a nostalgia nerd, I figured I'd start off bringing up the first console/game anyone has ever played. My first steps into gaming were the NES and the Legend of Zelda. Mind boggling is the only thing I could use to describe games back then for my tiny child brain, and watching them create interactive little adventures was always a hoot. Then I discovered stuff like Final Fantasy, Mario, Metroid, but their appeal quickly changed with the SNES. I remember when I my family got one, I don't remember the exact year we did get one but boy howdy.
